Healthcare professionals must be open and honest with patients when something that goes wrong with their treatment or care causes, or has the potential to cause, harm or distress. 

From April 2019 care services must publish an annual report showing and learning from incidents.

The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the obligations, what constitutes a notifiable incident and a practical approach to dealing with incidents and reports. The course covers;
